• Addresses the question/point
• Is succint/gets to the point
• Takes a position
• Starts discussion/introduces new (relevant) ideas
• Comments on others' comments (if applicable, respectfully disagrees with others' comments)
• Uses proper grammar/mechanics/spelling

Deviance...and beauty?
